These practices are for you if you the drawing — the representation of the motive in the painting — is a major challenge in your study. We have begun to address this issue last week, but in some paintings, this aspect will still seem intimidating.
Please note that these practices are by no means intended to produce “finished drawings”. The goal is rather to create a deeper inner familiarity with the shapes — new pathways in the brain (or possibly, in the overall neural system, including the body), which will help you to approach this aspect of painting with confidence.
